So hypothetically... If I were having sex with my husband, and then got up to go pee after (because you know, I'm a smart girl and do my best to avoid UTIs) and discovered that my period had just started... for the first time in almost 11 months...

There are worse situations in which to be asking yourself that question....do you kids not use protection? Are you open to having kids? A "no" in the first would kind of necessitate a "yes" in the second, imho.

I don't get why suddenly, getting your period, you wonder if you could have become pregnant... wouldn't being OFF your period and not on anything really be the cause for concern?
Because having your period means that egg's been kicked to the curb. So no fertilization. You feel me?

You could theoretically still be pregnant. It doesn't happen in one second, so you never know. Have you talked to your doctor about this one period a year thing? It could be because you exercise so much, or it could be something else.
On another note, I need some phone time with you. It has been a bad week.
